Portrait covers less of a map held upright; landscape shows more side-to-side road context. Switching briefly restarts the camera.

How to use this on your ride
- Mount the phone on your side mirror knob so the back camera faces forward, uncovered.
- Open Mirror Cam, tap Start camera, and allow camera access.
- If more than one back lens is available, tap through Lens options above and compare the preview.
- Pick Landscape or Portrait for the floating window shape.
- Tap Go floating — a small floating window with the live feed appears, and settings lock so nothing shifts mid-ride.
- Switch to Maps or any other app as normal — the floating feed keeps playing live.
- Tap Stop in the app (or swipe the floating window away) when you park. Fully closing/force-quitting the browser will always end it too — that's true of any app's floating window, not just this one.
